The winter school break is the one time of year when most families in Florida can travel together for more than a week, depending on their local calendar — and this departure is built to sit inside it.
You leave Miami International on the morning of Tuesday, December 22, as the break begins, and you are home on the morning of Friday, January 1, with the weekend to recover before school and work resume. The last night of 2026 is spent on the way home rather than at a party — which is, for many families, exactly the point.
The route is Makkah first. After the Istanbul connection, the group lands in Jeddah just after midday, travels to Makkah by private coach, and that same evening your imam leads the first Umrah together, step by step. By the first night, the rites you may have been anxious about are behind you — and the remaining Makkah days are yours for worship at the Haram, with a day trip to Taif and guided Ziyarah woven in. The journey then closes with three unhurried nights in Madinah al-Munawwarah, a gentler ending for families with children or elderly parents.
Both hotels are within walking distance of the Haramain — the Makkah hotel is a five-star property in the Jabal Omar development a few minutes from Masjid al-Haram, and the Madinah hotel is steps from the Prophet’s Mosque — so no daily shuttle is needed and you can return to your room between prayers. Breakfast and dinner are served daily as open buffets at both hotels. This departure is organized in partnership with the Islamic Society of Central Florida, and Imam Nur travels with the group from Miami and back, leading each Umrah, explaining the Ziyarah sites, and answering the questions first-time pilgrims are often reluctant to ask.

Both legs are on one Turkish Airlines ticket. The morning departure from Miami means a calm group check-in, a full day and a night on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and an early-morning arrival in Istanbul with 2 hours 55 minutes to change planes — enough for a coffee, not enough to get lost. The second flight lands in Jeddah at 12:25 PM, and it is on this leg that pilgrims enter ihram before the aircraft crosses the miqat. Hisar Tour staff meet you at MIA and accompany the group through immigration in Jeddah.
The return leaves Jeddah on the evening of December 31, connects in Istanbul in the small hours of New Year’s Day with 1 hour 50 minutes between flights, and lands in Miami at 7:10 AM the same morning. Two checked bags per passenger, 23 kg each, plus one cabin bag as permitted by Turkish Airlines.

In Makkah you will want to pray at the Haram five times a day, and a hotel you can walk from is the difference between returning for every prayer and going twice. Rotana Jabal Omar sits in the Jabal Omar development on the Haram side of Makkah, and the itinerary leaves most Makkah days unscheduled so you can use it.
Madinah closes this journey deliberately. After the rites are complete, Madinah rewards unhurried time in the Prophet’s Mosque more than a full sightseeing list — and a hotel you can walk back from between prayers is what makes that possible.

Meet the Hisar Tour team at Miami International for group check-in in the morning. Your group leader coordinates baggage, seating and boarding. Because this route arrives in Makkah first, your imam explains the ihram plan before you fly: ihram garments stay in your cabin bag, and the intention is made on the second flight, not the first. Dinner and a night’s rest on board, then an early-morning arrival in Istanbul.

Change planes in Istanbul with just under three hours between flights. On the Jeddah leg, pilgrims performing Umrah on arrival change into ihram and make the intention and talbiyah when the imam announces the miqat is approaching. Land in Jeddah at 12:25 PM; the Hisar Tour team accompanies the group through immigration, then a private coach brings you to Makkah for check-in. In the evening the group walks to Masjid al-Haram to perform the first Umrah together, with the imam guiding tawaf, sa’i and the closing of ihram step by step.
A deliberately light day after two flights and your first Umrah. In the afternoon your imam delivers a session at the hotel on the history and etiquette of Masjid al-Haram. The rest of the day is for prayer at the Haram, rest, and finding your rhythm in the city.
Jumu’ah at Masjid al-Haram — your group leader will advise when to leave the hotel to find a place, which on a Friday means considerably earlier than usual. In the evening the group travels to Masjid al-Tan’eem to enter ihram and returns to perform the second Umrah. Participation is optional — some pilgrims prefer to spend the evening in worship at the Haram instead.
Morning guided Ziyarah by coach to Arafat, Mina and Muzdalifah, with Jabal al-Nour and Jabal Thawr viewed en route. For anyone considering Hajj in the coming years, seeing these places with a knowledgeable imam is useful preparation. In the afternoon the group continues to Ju’ranah to enter ihram and returns to perform the third Umrah.
A coach day in the mountains above Makkah. Taif is the city the Prophet ﷺ walked to in the hardest year of his mission, and the site of one of the most moving supplications in the Sirah; your imam tells that story on the way up. The day includes the mosque of Abdullah ibn Abbas and time in the town, with the cooler air of the highlands a welcome change from the Haram plain. Return to Makkah in time for the evening prayers at the Haram.
The morning is for a farewell tawaf. After check-out the group transfers to Makkah’s Haramain station and boards the Haramain High-Speed Train to Madinah al-Munawwarah — a comfortable ride rather than a long coach day. After check-in and dinner, the group walks to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi to offer the first salam to the Prophet ﷺ, with the imam explaining the etiquette and layout of the mosque beforehand.
Madinah al-Munawwarah

Morning guided Ziyarah by private coach to Mount Uhud and the resting place of the martyrs, Masjid al-Qiblatayn and Masjid Quba. Your imam narrates each site through Bluetooth headsets, so you hear clearly without crowding around a guide. The afternoon and evening are unscheduled, deliberately.
After Fajr, the men of the group walk to Jannat al-Baqi with the imam, who explains who rests there and why the visit matters. No other group activity is scheduled. Unhurried time in the Prophet’s Mosque is the reason this day is left open — use it for worship, Rawdah permits where granted, and a last unrushed evening in the city.

Fajr and a farewell visit to the Prophet’s Mosque, then check-out. The group travels by private coach from Madinah to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz airport for the evening flight; your group leader confirms the coach departure time the day before. Because the flight leaves at 8:10 PM, this is a long travel day rather than a pre-dawn one — pack the night before and keep medication and a change of clothes in your cabin bag.

The flights connect in Istanbul in both directions. Door to door, the outbound journey is about 18 hours and the return about 19, and the return connection is 1 hour 50 minutes at two in the morning. Both connections are inside one airport on a single ticket, but this is not a non-stop flight, and you should plan for a tiring travel day at each end.
This route goes to Makkah first, so your first Umrah comes on the evening you land, after that long journey. Most pilgrims find completing the rites early is worth it — but that first day is demanding, and the itinerary deliberately keeps the following day light.
A deposit of 30% of the package price per person secures your place. The remaining balance is due no later than Sunday, November 22, 2026, thirty days before departure. Bookings without full payment by that date may be released.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date. Traveler names on the booking must match the passport exactly; corrections after ticketing are subject to airline fees.
No — both directions connect once in Istanbul on Turkish Airlines, on a single ticket. The group departs Miami (MIA) on TK 158 at 10:25 AM on Tuesday, December 22, arrives in Istanbul at 5:45 AM the next morning, and continues on TK 92 at 8:40 AM, landing in Jeddah at 12:25 PM on Wednesday, December 23. The return, TK 127, departs Jeddah at 8:10 PM on Thursday, December 31, connects in Istanbul, and TK 157 lands in Miami at 7:10 AM on Friday, January 1. The long legs are on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Two checked bags of 23 kg each plus one cabin bag are included per passenger.
Makkah first. Five nights in Makkah al-Mukarramah (December 23–27) at Rotana Jabal Omar or similar, then the Haramain High-Speed Train to Madinah al-Munawwarah for three nights (December 28–30) at Valy Hotel or similar. That is eight hotel nights; the ninth night of the trip is the outbound flight. Going to Makkah first means your Umrah is completed in the opening days, and the journey closes with calm, unhurried days in Madinah.
Rotana Jabal Omar in Makkah is approximately 300 meters from Masjid al-Haram, a 4–6 minute walk. Valy Hotel in Madinah is approximately 200 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a 3–5 minute walk. No daily shuttle is required at either hotel. Both hotels are shown as named or similar. If a named hotel becomes unavailable in the December high season, we provide the same concept: a 5-star hotel within approximately 300 to 500 meters of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, and a 4-star hotel of the same standard within walking distance of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
Yes. Umrah visa processing and the mandatory Saudi health insurance attached to it are included, and the Hisar Tour office supports you with the documents throughout the application. Visa type, validity and approval are determined by the Saudi authorities. If you hold a passport other than a U.S. passport, tell us your nationality before booking so we can confirm the requirements that apply to you.
Three guided group Umrahs are scheduled: the first on the evening of arrival in Makkah on December 23, the second from Masjid al-Tan’eem on the evening of December 25, and the third from Ju’ranah after the Makkah Ziyarah on December 26. Participation in the second and third is optional — some pilgrims prefer to spend those days in worship at the Haram.

No. Entry to the Rawdah requires a permit issued through the Nusuk platform with an assigned date and time slot. Your group leader will help you apply and will explain the process during the pre-Umrah webinar. Rawdah access cannot be guaranteed by Hisar Tour or any tour operator, because permits and entry times are controlled by the Saudi authorities.
The order and timing of activities may be adjusted because of flight operations, local regulations, prayer schedules, permit availability, traffic, weather or group needs. Submitting a registration form does not confirm your place — your seat is held once the deposit is received and accepted, after which you receive written confirmation, a document checklist and your payment schedule.
