The last ten nights in Makkah, and Eid in Madinah
The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most sought-after nights of the Muslim year. Among them is Laylat al-Qadr, which the Qur’an describes as better than a thousand months — and this departure is built to place you in Makkah for all ten.
You leave JFK at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2027 on a non-stop Saudia flight and land in Jeddah at 6:35 the next morning. If Ramadan begins on Monday, February 8, as currently projected, that is the twentieth day of the month, and the first of the last ten nights begins that same evening.
The route is Makkah first. Your Umrah is performed on the day you arrive, guided by your imam, and the ten nights that follow are yours for Taraweeh, Qiyam al-Layl and supplication at Masjid al-Haram — an Umrah in Ramadan, which the Prophet ﷺ described as equal in reward to Hajj. On the last day of Ramadan the group takes the Haramain train to Madinah al-Munawwarah to pray Eid al-Fitr in the Prophet’s Mosque, then spends four quieter nights there before flying home from Jeddah.
This is a Standard departure, and it is priced as one. The Makkah hotel is a 4-star property about 2.5 km from Masjid al-Haram — not walking distance for every prayer — while the Madinah hotel is a short walk from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Suhoor and iftar are served as buffets every day of Ramadan, then breakfast and dinner after Eid. We would rather you know the trade-off now than discover it on the first night.

SV 20 leaves New York (JFK) at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26 — an overnight flight of 11 hours 35 minutes on a Boeing 777-300 — and lands in Jeddah at 6:35 AM on Saturday, February 27. No connection, no second check-in. Because the group goes to Makkah first, you enter ihram before the aircraft crosses the miqat, and your imam announces the moment on board. Hisar Tour staff meet you at JFK and accompany the group through immigration in Jeddah.
Return and baggage
SV 21 departs Jeddah at 3:25 AM on Sunday, March 14 and lands at JFK at 10:00 AM the same morning, 13 hours 35 minutes non-stop on a Boeing 777-300. U.S. daylight saving time begins that morning, so the arrival time is in New York’s new local time. Two checked bags per passenger, 23 kg each, plus cabin baggage as permitted by Saudia.
Flight numbers, times and aircraft are as currently scheduled by Saudia and may change.2 Your final itinerary is issued with your travel documents.

Novotel Makkah or similar — 4-star
The Makkah hotel is the trade-off on this departure, and we would rather say so plainly. Novotel Makkah is a 4-star hotel about 2.5 km from Masjid al-Haram — roughly half an hour on foot in ordinary conditions, and longer in the crowds of the last ten nights. In practice, pilgrims at a hotel this far out spend long stretches at the Haram, from Taraweeh through Qiyam al-Layl to suhoor, rather than going back and forth for each prayer.
Maien Taibah Hotel or similar — 4-star
Madinah closes the journey, and here the hotel is a short walk from the Prophet’s Mosque. That matters on Eid morning, when the group goes to the mosque early to find a place for the Eid prayer, and in the days after, when you will want to return to your room between prayers.

Arrival in Jeddah, Makkah, and your Umrah
Land in Jeddah at 6:35 AM; the Hisar Tour team accompanies the group through immigration, then a coach brings you to Makkah. Rooms are released at the hotel’s check-in time; early check-in is requested for the group but depends on availability. Once the group has rested, the imam leads the Umrah together — tawaf, sa’i and the closing of ihram, step by step — at a time he chooses to avoid the heaviest crowds. If Ramadan began on February 8, this evening is the first of the last ten nights.
Rest and orientation
A deliberately light day after an overnight flight and your Umrah. In the afternoon your imam holds a session at the hotel on the last ten nights: how to divide the night between Taraweeh, Qiyam al-Layl and suhoor, how the Prophet ﷺ sought Laylat al-Qadr, and how to pace yourself so that you reach the final nights with strength left.
Makkah Ziyarah
An early-morning guided Ziyarah by coach to Arafat, Mina and Muzdalifah, with Jabal al-Nour and Jabal Thawr viewed en route — kept short so that it fits a fasting day. You are back at the hotel before the heat of midday, with the afternoon for rest before iftar.
The rhythm of the last ten nights
No group activities are scheduled. The days are for rest and Qur’an; the nights for Taraweeh, Qiyam al-Layl and supplication at Masjid al-Haram. Your imam and group guide stay at hand, and the group leader advises each day on transport, gates and timings, which in the last ten nights change with the crowds.
Jumu’ah at the Haram, and the twenty-seventh night
Jumu’ah at Masjid al-Haram — on a Friday in the last ten nights, plan to leave the hotel far earlier than usual; your group leader advises on timing the evening before. If Ramadan began on February 8, the evening that follows is the twenty-seventh night, when the Haram is at its fullest. No one can say with certainty which night is Laylat al-Qadr; the Prophet ﷺ taught us to seek it in the odd nights of the last ten.
The final nights of Ramadan
The closing nights of the month at the Haram. On the evening of Monday, March 8 — the twenty-ninth of Ramadan, if it began on February 8 — the Saudi authorities announce whether the new moon has been sighted, and with it the date of Eid. Your imam explains zakat al-fitr, which is due before the Eid prayer, and the group leader confirms the plan for the next day.
Farewell tawaf and the Haramain train to Madinah
The morning is for a farewell tawaf. After check-out the group transfers to Makkah’s Haramain station and boards the Haramain High-Speed Train to Madinah al-Munawwarah. If Ramadan completes thirty days, today is its last day — the eve of Eid — and the group reaches Madinah ahead of the Eid prayer the next morning. If the moon was sighted the evening before, today is Eid itself: the group prays Eid at Masjid al-Haram in the morning and travels afterward.

Eid al-Fitr in the Prophet’s Mosque
If Eid falls today, as expected, the group walks to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi early to find a place for the Eid prayer, then spends the day exchanging Eid greetings, visiting the mosque and resting. From today, hotel meals change to breakfast and dinner.
Madinah Ziyarah
Morning guided Ziyarah by coach to Mount Uhud and the resting place of the martyrs, Masjid al-Qiblatayn and Masjid Quba. Your imam narrates each site through Bluetooth headsets, so you hear clearly without crowding around a guide. The afternoon and evening are unscheduled, deliberately.
Baqi and Jumu’ah in the Prophet’s Mosque
After Fajr, the men of the group walk to Jannat al-Baqi with the imam, who explains who rests there and why the visit matters. Jumu’ah is at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi; the rest of the day is left open for worship and a last unhurried evening in the city.
Last day in Madinah, then to Jeddah

Fajr and a farewell visit to the Prophet’s Mosque. Check-out is at the hotel’s standard time, and no room is held after that unless you book a day-use room. Pack the night before and keep medication and a change of clothes in your cabin bag.

Three things to weigh honestly:
The Makkah hotel is not within walking distance. Novotel Makkah is about 2.5 km from Masjid al-Haram, and in the last ten nights vehicle access near the Haram is often restricted, so the shuttle’s drop-off point may be some distance from the gates. Plan to spend long blocks of the night at the Haram rather than returning for each prayer. If walking to every prayer matters most to you, speak with an advisor before booking.
These are the most crowded days of the Umrah year. Expect long waits at the gates, full prayer halls, and areas around the Kaaba that the authorities may restrict at peak times. Combined with fasting, the days are physically demanding — rewarding, but not restful.
The last day is long. You check out in Madinah, travel to Jeddah in the evening, and fly at 3:25 AM, with no hotel room held in between unless you book one.

Registration deadline and payment
Registration for this departure closes on Saturday, January 2, 2027. Places are limited and are allocated in the order deposits are received; Ramadan visa and ticketing deadlines are the reason the date is firm rather than a sales tactic. Early-registration prices apply to bookings whose deposit is received by November 30, 2026.
A deposit of 30% of the package price per person secures your place. The remaining balance is due no later than Wednesday, January 27, 2027, thirty days before departure. Bookings without full payment by that date may be released.
You can pay during registration through our online system, or register first and pay by Zelle (hisartour@uama.us), bank deposit or wire transfer, check payable to HISAR USA INC, or credit card — subject to a 3% processing fee. Zelle, bank transfer and check carry no fee.
Cancellation and changes
Deposit terms, refunds on amounts paid, name changes, airline ticket restrictions and visa-related conditions are governed by the HISAR USA INC Terms and Conditions, which apply to every booking. Airline and hotel penalties apply separately, and prices are subject to availability and exchange-rate changes until your booking is confirmed.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date. Traveler names on the booking must match the passport exactly; corrections after ticketing are subject to airline fees.

Yes, both directions are non-stop on Saudia. SV 20 leaves New York (JFK) at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2027 and lands in Jeddah at 6:35 AM on Saturday, February 27. Coming home, SV 21 departs Jeddah at 3:25 AM on Sunday, March 14 and lands at JFK at 10:00 AM. Two checked bags of 23 kg each are included.
Will we be in Makkah for all of the last ten nights?
Yes, on the current projection. If Ramadan begins on Monday, February 8, 2027, the group lands on the morning of the twentieth day, and the first of the last ten nights begins that evening. The group stays in Makkah until the last day of Ramadan, so every odd night falls during your stay in Makkah.
Ramadan dates follow the official moon sighting; if the month begins a day earlier or later, the nights shift by one day.
Which city do we visit first, and how many nights in each?
Makkah first: ten nights in Makkah al-Mukarramah (February 27 – March 8) at Novotel Makkah or similar, then four nights in Madinah al-Munawwarah (March 9–12) at Maien Taibah Hotel or similar. That is fourteen hotel nights. Going to Makkah first places your Umrah and the last ten nights at the Haram, and Eid in Madinah.
How far is the Makkah hotel from the Haram, and how do we get there?
Novotel Makkah is approximately 2.5 km from Masjid al-Haram — not walking distance for every prayer. A shuttle service between the hotel and the Haram is included. In the last ten nights, vehicle access near the Haram is often restricted, so the drop-off point may be some distance from the gates. How far is the Madinah hotel from the Prophet’s Mosque?
Maien Taibah Hotel is approximately 200 meters from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a three-to-five minute walk, so no shuttle is needed in Madinah. Hotels are shown as named or similar. If a named hotel becomes unavailable, the replacement is a 4-star hotel of the same standard, within walking distance of the mosque in Madinah and at a comparable distance in Makkah.
Where do we enter ihram on this route?
On the plane, before it crosses the miqat. The flight lands in Jeddah and the group goes straight to Makkah, so men can put on the ihram garments at JFK or change on board, and everyone makes the intention and talbiyah when the imam announces the miqat is approaching. Your imam walks through it in the webinar and again on board.
How many Umrahs will we perform?
One guided group Umrah is scheduled, on the day you arrive in Makkah. In recent years the Saudi authorities have limited Umrah permits to one per pilgrim during Ramadan, especially in the last ten days. Whether a second Umrah is possible depends on the Nusuk rules in force in 2027; your group leader will advise on site.
Will we pray Eid al-Fitr in Madinah?
That is the plan; it depends on the moon. The group travels to Madinah on Tuesday, March 9. If Ramadan completes thirty days, Eid falls on Wednesday, March 10 and the group prays it at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. If the moon is sighted a day earlier, Eid falls on March 9 and the group prays it at Masjid al-Haram before traveling.
What meals are included during Ramadan?
Daily suhoor and iftar buffets at the hotel throughout Ramadan, then daily open-buffet breakfast and dinner from Eid al-Fitr onward. Many pilgrims break the fast with dates and Zamzam at the Haram and eat at the hotel afterward. Meals taken outside the hotel are not included. Tell your advisor about dietary or medical requirements before departure.
Do I have to fast on the travel days?
The Qur’an permits a traveler to postpone the fast and make it up later, and many pilgrims choose to fast anyway. Your imam explains the rulings in the pre-Umrah webinar, including how they apply to the overnight flight, the arrival day and the journey to Madinah. If you take medication on a schedule, speak with your doctor before departure.
Is the Saudi visa included?
Yes, for eligible passports. Saudi tourist visa processing and the health insurance attached to it are included for U.S. passport holders and other eligible nationalities, and the Hisar Tour office supports you through the documents. If your passport is not eligible, an Umrah visa is required at $250 per person. Tell us your nationality before booking and we will confirm which applies to you.

What does the starting price include, and what do the room types mean?
$3,300 is per person based on quad occupancy — four travelers sharing one room. Triple is $3,400 per person and double is $3,600. A child aged 2–8 without a separate bed is $2,600, and an infant under 2 without a seat is $450; both need an accompanying adult. These are early-registration prices in U.S. dollars, flights included.
What deposit is required, and when do registration and payment close?
Registration for this departure closes on Saturday, January 2, 2027. A deposit of 30% of the package price per person secures your place, and the balance is due by January 27, 2027, thirty days before departure. Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee; Zelle, bank transfer and check carry none. Deposit and refund conditions are set out in the HISAR USA INC Terms and Conditions.
What happens on the last day, given the 3:25 AM flight?
Saturday, March 13 begins with Fajr and a farewell visit to the Prophet’s Mosque. You check out at the hotel’s standard time, and the group travels to Jeddah in the evening for the 3:25 AM flight, which lands at JFK at 10:00 AM on Sunday. No hotel room is held between check-out and departure.
Keep a change of clothes and medication in your cabin bag, and ask us about a day-use room if you would prefer to rest.
Is this departure suitable for elderly parents or young children?
With planning, yes, but be realistic. The last ten nights are the most crowded days of the Umrah year, the Makkah hotel is about 2.5 km from the Haram, and fasting adds to the strain. The flights are non-stop and the Madinah hotel is within walking distance. If a traveler uses a wheelchair or has limited mobility, speak with an advisor before booking.
Is Rawdah access guaranteed?
No. Entry to the Rawdah requires a permit issued through the Nusuk platform with an assigned date and time slot, and slots are scarce in the days around Eid. Your group leader will help you apply and will explain the process during the pre-Umrah webinar. Rawdah access cannot be guaranteed by Hisar Tour or any tour operator, because permits and entry times are controlled by the Saudi authorities.
Can the itinerary change, and what happens after I book?
The order and timing of activities may be adjusted because of the moon sighting, flight operations, local regulations, permit availability, traffic, crowd management or group needs. Submitting a registration form does not confirm your place — your seat is held once the deposit is received and accepted, after which you receive written confirmation, a document checklist and your payment schedule.

- During Ramadan, suhoor and iftar are served as buffets at the hotels, at times set by each hotel’s Ramadan schedule; from Eid al-Fitr onward, open-buffet breakfast and dinner.
