About Hisar Tour
Hisar Tour organizes Hajj, Umrah, and Islamic heritage journeys for Muslims across the United States and Canada. We are the travel company of HISAR USA INC., an IATAN-accredited agency wholly owned by the United American Muslim Association (UAMA) — which means we are not an anonymous website, but a company answerable to a mosque community our travelers pray in every week.
Hisar Tour is the Hajj, Umrah, and cultural travel brand of HISAR USA INC., an IATAN-accredited travel agency with its office at 970 Clifton Avenue, Suite 202, Clifton, New Jersey. The company is wholly owned by the United American Muslim Association (UAMA) — a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 1980 that has served Muslim communities across the United States for more than four decades through its mosques, schools, and community programs.
That ownership structure is not a detail — it is the reason families trust us with the most important journey of their lives. A pilgrimage company owned by a mosque community cannot disappear after a season. It answers to imams, to boards, and to families who see our staff at Jumu’ah. Our reputation is not a marketing asset we can replace; it is the standing of an institution that intends to serve this community for generations.
The wider Hisar organization has worked in travel since 1996, and Hisar Tour has served pilgrims from the United States since 2014. Behind that continuity is direct field experience in Makkah, Madinah, and the Mashair — the difference between a company that sells a pilgrimage and a company that has stood in Mina at 2 a.m. solving a problem for a 78-year-old pilgrim.
We state our scale precisely, because precision is part of the point: in the 1447 season (2025–2026), more than 100,000 pilgrims travelled with Hisar worldwide. Hisar Tour is the organization’s United States and Canada arm — a smaller, community-scale operation by design, with the supplier relationships, buying power, and field experience of that global network standing behind every group we send.
Hisar Tour is a faith-focused company built on the understanding of serving the guests of Allah and of His Messenger ﷺ. Following the Sunnah, and working alongside knowledgeable and experienced guides, we exist so that Muslims of every background can perform their pilgrimage correctly, with reverence, and in dignity — and can place complete trust in the company standing beside them while they do it.
Manevi hassasiyet — spiritual sensitivity — sets the intention. Uzman rehberlik — expert guidance — makes the worship correct. Profesyonellik — professional operations — makes the journey possible. And güvenilirlik — trustworthiness — is what earns us the right to be part of it at all.
These were not written by a marketing agency. Our entire team sat down together, and each person independently named the values they believe Hisar Tour must stand for. Seven emerged — and one word appeared on every single list.
A pilgrimage is paid for in full, months in advance, largely on faith. That makes trust not our marketing message but our actual product. Every person on our team named this value — nobody had to be persuaded.
Knowledge that walks beside you. A pilgrim who understands what they are doing and why performs a different worship than one following a crowd. Guidance is the reason our travelers remember their group leader’s name years later.
We are serving the guests of Allah. The entire character of a journey is set by whether the people organizing it actually remember that — in the schedule they build, the tone they use, and the things they refuse to do.
Sincerity without operational discipline still produces a failed journey. Flights, visas, hotels, transfers, and 24-hour problem-solving are technical work, and we treat them as technical work.
On a journey of this scale, something will eventually go wrong — a delayed bag, a hotel desk, a health issue at 3 a.m. What separates companies is not whether problems occur, but what happens in the ten minutes afterwards.
A pilgrim who has not eaten properly cannot worship properly. Food is not a line item on a package sheet — for ten or fourteen demanding days it is the difference between energy and exhaustion.
The North American ummah is not one community — it is fifty. A company serving it properly must be able to receive a Turkish grandmother, a South Asian family, an Arab student, and an American convert into the same group and serve all of them well.
The eighth value is how we protect the other seven. We read every review — especially the critical ones — debrief after every season, and change what needs changing. A company that only listens to praise stops improving the year it starts believing it.
We will not promise a hotel we cannot confirm. We will not advertise a train and deliver a bus. We will not guarantee a visa, a Rawdah appointment, or a Hajj permit — because those decisions belong to Saudi authorities and no honest company controls them. And we will not sell a package we would not put our own parents on.
Under-promising and over-delivering is not modesty. In this industry it is the entire difference between an accepted journey and a lifelong regret.
How a mosque community’s need became a national pilgrimage operation.
Hisar Tour began the way most good things in our community begin: with a need. Families in Brooklyn, New York wanted to perform Umrah together, with an imam they knew, in a group where their parents would be looked after and their questions would be answered in a language they were comfortable in. What started in 2014 as a service for one community grew — group by group, season by season — into a nationwide operation serving pilgrims from New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto. Twelve seasons later, our groups depart from both coasts and from Canada, and our office is in Clifton, New Jersey.

What has not changed in that growth is the standard. We still travel with our guests rather than sending them. Our imams still lead every group in person. Our representatives are still present at hotel check-in. And we still measure a season not by how many seats we sold, but by how many families came home saying the journey was everything they had hoped it would be.
Value 02, in human form — the people our travelers name in their reviews and remember by name years later.
A pilgrimage is not a hotel booking with a flight attached. It is the most demanding worship most Muslims will ever perform, in unfamiliar conditions, often at an age when the body is no longer forgiving. What determines whether that journey is completed with confidence or with anxiety is almost always the same thing: who is standing next to you.
Hisar Tour group leaders are selected for three things together — religious knowledge, field experience in the Haramain, and the patience to answer the same question for the fiftieth time as though it were the first.

Additional imams and group leaders join according to the season and the departure city — but the rule never changes: every Hisar Tour group travels with one.
On most Umrah departures a dedicated female religious guide (hoca hanım) travels with the group to support the sisters — women-only lessons, Rawdah visits, and a direct point of contact of their own. During Hajj, our field team includes female staff supporting sisters across all groups.
Group departures throughout the year — including Ramadan, school holidays, and the last ten nights — with named hotels near the Haramain, imam-led guidance, breakfast and dinner, ziyarah in Makkah and Madinah, and full visa support.
All Hajj packages for North American pilgrims are booked through Nusuk, the Saudi government platform. We guide you through registration, verification, and package selection, run pre-Hajj seminars, and accompany your group with an imam through Makkah, Madinah, and the Mashair.
Guided journeys through the lands of Islamic history — Bukhara and Samarkand, Istanbul and the Sacred Trusts, and other destinations of our shared heritage — led in the same spirit as our ziyarah in the Haramain.
Same imam, same guidance, same care at every level. What changes is hotel category, distance to the Haram, and room comfort.
| Level | Best suited to |
|---|---|
| Standard | Pilgrims who want a complete, well-organized program at the most accessible price — full group services with practical hotel choices. |
| Comfort | Travelers who want a shorter walk to the Haram and a step up in hotel comfort without moving to a premium budget. |
| Premium | Families and first-time pilgrims who value a strong hotel location and a more comfortable room configuration. |
| Luxury | Pilgrims who want top-tier hotels very close to the Haramain, with elevated dining and room standards. |
| Ultra Luxury | Guests seeking the finest available accommodation, closest access, and the highest level of personal attention throughout the journey. |
Values that cost nothing to state are worth nothing. These are the commitments behind every Hisar Tour booking.
The United American Muslim Association (UAMA) was founded in 1980 and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 11-2567323) headquartered in Brooklyn, New York with participating centers across the United States. Its work spans mosques and prayer services, Islamic education — including a full-time boarding school, weekend schools, and summer and winter camps reaching 4,400+ students each year — as well as zakat collection and distribution, qurbani, and humanitarian aid given regardless of culture, race, or ethnicity.
Hisar Tour is how that same organization serves families making the journey of a lifetime. Practically, this means something our travelers feel: our imams are often the imams of their own or a neighboring masjid. Our pre-departure seminars are frequently held in mosques rather than hotel conference rooms. Our staff meets returning pilgrims at community events months after the journey. Accountability is not a policy document for us — it is the person sitting two rows ahead at Jumu’ah.
It also means the money you pay for a pilgrimage stays inside the community. Hisar Tour’s ownership by a non-profit is not a marketing line — it is a structural fact you can verify. Learn more about UAMA →

Credentials that can be checked — not claims that have to be believed.
Our agency holds a Certificate of Accreditation from the International Airline Travel Agent Network (IATAN), the accreditation body of the International Air Transport Association, under IATA code 31576580 at our Clifton, New Jersey office.
IATAN accreditation requires verified business standing, financial review, and a professional place of business. It is one of the few credentials in this industry a company cannot simply claim — it can be checked.
Our Hajj operation has been awarded 1st Place for Excellent Service by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in 2025 — an assessment made in the field, during the pilgrimage itself, by the authority that observes every operator in the Mashair.
In 2019, Hisar Tour was recognized by Turkish Airlines as the private agency carrying the highest number of pilgrims. Recognition of this kind is calculated from verified passenger volume, not awarded for marketing.
We work with major international carriers and established hotel and ground-service suppliers in Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah — relationships built over more than a decade of seasons, which is what allows us to hold group seats and room blocks in the busiest weeks of the year.
For Hajj, we operate alongside Seera Mawasim, a licensed Saudi provider on the Nusuk platform.
Our Google rating is 4.9 out of 5 across 320+ reviews, written by pilgrims in English, Turkish, French, Dutch, Arabic, and Japanese. We encourage you to read them — including the critical ones and our replies.
