Your reservation is final when we have received your deposit, your passenger details exactly as they appear on your passport, and any required documents — and we have issued a written confirmation. Submitting a form or creating an account holds nothing by itself, so we recommend completing the deposit promptly for high-demand dates such as Ramadan and school holidays.

You receive your written booking confirmation right away, and your flight details as soon as ticketing is complete. Your complete travel file — e-tickets, visa, and the full day-by-day program with flights, hotels, transfers, ziyarah visits, seminar schedule, and meal times — is sent to you approximately 10 days before departure, and often earlier.

We know from thousands of pilgrim experiences across the market that receiving documents late is one of the biggest sources of stress. Our team keeps you informed at every stage — you will never need to chase us for your own documents.

Yes — many of our travelers book for parents, spouses, or entire families. You can complete the registration and payment on their behalf, and we will communicate with you or directly with the traveler, whichever you prefer. If your parents are elderly or have mobility needs, tell us at booking so the group leader can plan support in advance (see the Women, Families & Seniors section below).

Children are welcome when traveling with a parent or legal guardian on the same package — we do not accept unaccompanied travelers under 18. Child and infant pricing is listed on each package page. Families receive rooming that keeps them together, and our group leaders are experienced with families traveling with young children.

Unless your invoice states otherwise: $1,000 per person for group Umrah packages, $2,000 per person for Ramadan Umrah packages, and $500 per person for individual or customized arrangements. The deposit secures your seat in the group and immediately funds real commitments — airline seat holds, hotel blocks, visa processing, and file work — which is why it is non-refundable once processing begins. Full details are in Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions.

The balance is due no later than 30 days before departure unless your invoice states a different date. We accept Zelle, bank transfer, and check at no extra cost; credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee. All payments are invoiced in writing in USD — you will always have a paper trail for every dollar.

In plain language: the deposit is non-refundable; if you cancel more than 30 days before departure, additional payments are refunded to the extent we can recover funds from airlines and hotels; within 30 days of departure the package is non-refundable, because tickets and rooms are already committed. If a supplier later returns funds for an unused service, we pass the recoverable amount to you — with documentation.

Every cancellation request must be in writing, and we confirm every cancellation in writing, so there is never uncertainty about where you stand. The full policy is Section 14 of our Terms & Conditions.

We are not an anonymous website: our office is at 970 Clifton Avenue, Suite 202, Clifton, NJ, every payment is invoiced in writing, and our full legal terms are published openly on this site.

We don’t run a fixed monthly installment plan — and you don’t need one. Reserve with the deposit, then pay any amount, at any pace, until the balance due date, which is generally 30 days before departure. Many families spread the cost over several months this way. For Hajj, note that the Nusuk package price is paid directly inside the Nusuk platform on its own schedule (see the Hajj section below).

After full payment and final written confirmation, we do not increase your price except for narrow reasons outside our control (government taxes, airline fuel surcharges, and similar), and always with written notice. If such an increase ever exceeds 8% of your package price, you may cancel within 7 days of our notice and receive a documented refund of amounts not already committed. This protection is written into Section 6 of our Terms & Conditions.

Yes — visa processing assistance is included in our Umrah packages, and we process the correct visa type for your journey. This matters: pilgrims elsewhere in the market have discovered at the airport that they were issued a tourist visa instead of an Umrah visa, which affects entitlements such as Zamzam water allowances. Our documentation team double-checks the visa type on every file before departure.

Your passport should be valid for at least six months after your return date. Check it the day you decide to travel — passport renewals are the single most common cause of last-minute stress, and starting early costs nothing.

In most cases, yes. Green card holders and citizens of other countries residing in the US or Canada can usually join our groups; visa requirements depend on your nationality and residency documents. Send us a photo of your passport data page and residency document by WhatsApp and we will confirm your eligibility and the exact requirements before you pay anything.

No company can honestly guarantee a visa, entry, or Rawdah access — these decisions belong to Saudi authorities and official platforms. What we do guarantee is our process: complete and accurate submission, early processing, correct visa type, and Rawdah appointment support through the official channels for every traveler in the group. Be cautious with any agency that “guarantees” government decisions.

Our group departures are typically from New York (JFK) and Washington, DC, with Toronto (YYZ) departures for Canadian travelers on selected dates. In many seasons we also add departures from Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), and Miami (MIA). Travelers from other cities can book a connecting flight to the group departure airport or ask us about joining the group in Jeddah or Madinah. Each package page states its departure city.

We request family seating at ticketing and follow up at check-in wherever the airline allows. Final seat control always belongs to the airline — no agency can override that — but because our groups travel together on group bookings, families are kept together in the overwhelming majority of cases. Tell us about young children or medical needs at booking so we can prioritize your request.

We plan itineraries to avoid the two extremes travelers complain about across this industry: exhausting 8+ hour layovers and dangerously tight connections that risk missing the onward flight. Where a connection is necessary, we aim for a comfortable window. Your exact routing is shown before ticketing — you will never discover your layover at the airport.

Your baggage allowance follows the airline’s rules for your ticket and is stated with your flight details. Keep medication, one change of clothes, and your ihram in your hand luggage. If a bag is delayed or lost, our group leader helps you file the airline report immediately and follows up with the airline while you continue your worship — you are not left to handle it alone in a foreign airport.

Every Hisar Tour package page names the actual hotel and states the practical walking distance — for example, a hotel 200 meters from Masjid an-Nabawi, or a 5-minute walk to Masjid al-Haram. We publish names and distances precisely so you can verify them yourself on a map before you book. If a package uses a shuttle instead of walking distance, the package page says so plainly.

Walking times are honest estimates — gates, crowd-control measures, and construction can change the route on a given day.

Hotels are subject to supplier confirmation, so packages are sold with the named hotel “or similar.” What “similar” means with us: a reasonably comparable standard, category, and practical location — and if a substitution is ever required, we notify you in writing before departure, not at the check-in desk. Unannounced hotel changes on arrival are among the most damaging failures in this industry, and preventing them is an operational priority for us.

Most Hisar Tour Umrah packages include daily open-buffet breakfast and dinner — not breakfast only, which is the market norm. Menus are halal, varied, and prepared for an international group: our guests come from Turkish, South Asian, Arab, African, and American backgrounds, and the dining room serves all of them at the same tables, from the same buffet. On many programs our own cooks work in the hotel kitchen.

Meal times are fixed in your written program, so worship and rest are planned around real meal windows — not squeezed against them.

Rooms are priced by occupancy: quad, triple, double, and single. If you book shared occupancy as a solo traveler, we match you with same-gender roommates from the group wherever possible. If no suitable roommate is available, we will discuss the options with you before departure — you will never simply be assigned a stranger without knowing.

Rooms match the hotel category stated on your package page, with standard hotel services. Every registered guest is entitled to room access; if the hotel issues limited key cards, our group leader resolves it at check-in. Small things like this are exactly why a Hisar Tour representative is present during hotel check-in rather than leaving the group at the door.

On packages where the train is listed, it is included and it is delivered. On packages that use private buses for the Makkah–Madinah transfer, the package page says “bus.” We are deliberate about this wording: a promised train that becomes a bus is a broken promise, and we would rather under-promise than disappoint you. Check the “What’s included” list on your specific package — it is the single source of truth.

Yes. Every Hisar Tour group travels with a qualified imam or trained group leader from departure to return — guiding the Umrah rituals step by step, teaching at ziyarah sites, answering fiqh questions, and handling practical problems on the ground. This is the heart of what we do: across thousands of reviews in this market, no operator’s religious leadership is mentioned — by name, with gratitude — more often than ours.

You will be prepared before you fly and guided after you land. Before departure: live webinar sessions covering the rituals, what to pack, health preparation, and Saudi procedures — with time for your questions. During the journey: your imam leads the Umrah in person, explains each step and its meaning, and our Bluetooth headsets let you hear the guidance clearly even in large crowds. Many of our travelers are first-timers; by the second day, they tell us the nervousness is gone.

You receive a written day-by-day program before departure, and the group receives a daily brief during the trip — one clear message from one source, covering the next day’s times for prayers, ziyarah, meals, and transfers. Conflicting instructions from different leaders is a known frustration on group journeys, and our single-source daily brief exists precisely to prevent it.

Yes. Our groups include pilgrims of different madhhabs, and our imams teach the rituals in a way that respects each traveler’s own school. For personal fiqh questions, your imam will advise you according to your madhhab or connect you with the right scholar — no one is instructed to abandon their own tradition.

Group programs are led in English, with Turkish fully supported — and in Saudi Arabia, our entire ground team speaks Arabic, which is exactly what matters when something needs solving locally. Our US office serves you in English and Turkish. Guided — that is the point of them. At each site in Makkah and Madinah, your imam explains the history and significance and the du’as connected to the place, with headsets so everyone hears. Optional extras (such as additional Umrahs or extended visits) are announced during the trip; participation is your choice, and activities marked optional are truly optional.

All Hajj packages for North American pilgrims are booked through Nusuk (hajj.nusuk.sa), the Saudi government’s official platform. You create your own Nusuk account, complete verification, fund your eWallet, and select a package from a Saudi-licensed provider when packages are released. There is no other legitimate route — treat any company selling “guaranteed Hajj spots” outside Nusuk with extreme caution.

The Hajj package price is paid by you, directly inside the Nusuk platform, through your own account and eWallet. Hisar Tour never receives, holds, or processes your Nusuk package payment — and we do not charge Hajj pilgrims a service fee: our Nusuk guidance, webinars, and group support are provided at no cost. If you ever purchase an optional extra from Hisar Tour (for example a separately arranged flight), it is invoiced clearly in writing.

Nusuk package prices for North American pilgrims have generally ranged from roughly $10,000 to $15,000+ per person depending on hotel category, Mina camp zone, and duration — set by the Saudi providers on Nusuk, not by us. Our Hajj packages page shows the tiers we support with hotel names, camp options, and a cost calculator, so you can plan realistically before packages are released. Final prices are always the ones confirmed inside Nusuk at booking.

Honestly: Mina is demanding for everyone — tents are shared, distances are real, and the days are long and hot. What changes the experience is preparation and leadership: knowing what to expect from our seminars, having an imam with your group at every rite, planned transportation between the Mashair sites, and a team working on solutions when conditions shift. Our pilgrims consistently describe Arafat — the heart of Hajj — as the strongest part of our operation. We will not promise you luxury in Mina; we promise you will not face it unprepared or alone.

Many of our pilgrims are seniors, including travelers in their late seventies and eighties who completed Hajj with our imams’ close support. Tell us about mobility needs at registration: wheelchair support can be arranged on request, and group leaders plan pacing, rest, and transport for vulnerable pilgrims — especially for the Muzdalifah and Jamarat movements, which are the hardest part of Hajj for seniors. We will give you an honest assessment for your specific situation before you commit.

Permits, quotas, and package availability are decided by Saudi authorities and the Nusuk platform — no agency controls them. If a booking doesn’t complete, your Nusuk eWallet funds remain in your own account under Nusuk’s rules, because we never held them. And since Hisar Tour charges no Hajj service fee, there is nothing of yours in our hands to refund — a simplicity we consider a feature. Our role is to maximize your readiness: verified account, funded wallet, and fast, informed action on release day — which is where most bookings are won or lost.

Saudi Arabia currently permits women to perform Umrah without a mahram, and sisters — including groups of friends and mothers with daughters — travel with our groups regularly. You will be roomed with other sisters, and the group structure means you are never navigating airports, transfers, or the Haramain alone. For Hajj, mahram-related rules are set by Saudi authorities and Nusuk; ask us for the current requirements when you register.

On most Umrah departures, a dedicated female religious guide (hoca hanım) travels with the group to support the sisters — women-only lessons, Rawdah visits, and a direct point of contact of their own. During Hajj, our field team includes female staff who support the sisters across all groups.

Beyond that: same-gender rooming, Rawdah appointment support (the women’s visiting schedule works differently from the men’s, and we plan for it), access to all lectures and religious guidance, and clear answers to questions specific to women — such as rulings connected to menstruation during Umrah — which our scholars address with knowledge and respect, never with embarrassment.

Yes, with honest planning. Families with children — including toddlers — travel with us regularly. We arrange family rooming, the schedule includes real rest windows, and your imam will advise you on which activities to do with the children and which to alternate with your spouse. Tell us the children’s ages at booking and we will tell you honestly which package and dates suit your family best.

Concretely: mobility needs recorded at booking and briefed to the group leader; wheelchair arrangements on request; pacing and rest built into the group program; help through airports and hotel check-ins; and an imam who knows your parents by name and checks on them. One of our reviews describes our imam caring for a traveler’s nearly 80-year-old mother “from every step before she left until she came home safely.” That is the standard we hold our leaders to.

Yes — and we want to answer this directly rather than avoid it. Hisar Tour’s roots are in the Turkish-American community through UAMA, and our groups today include pilgrims of South Asian, Arab, African, Central Asian, Balkan, and American backgrounds. Every guest in a group receives the same hotels, the same dining room and buffet, the same transport arrangements, and the same access to leaders — this is a written service standard, not a courtesy. Group programs are led in English. Our recent Hajj reviews, written by pilgrims from a dozen backgrounds, are the best evidence of what the group feels like from the inside.

Here is the distinction most pilgrims don’t know: the Saudi health coverage attached to your visa is not travel insurance. It does not cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical evacuation, or baggage. We strongly recommend buying separate travel insurance for every pilgrimage — it is inexpensive compared to the cost of a cancelled trip or an overseas hospital bill, and it is the single best financial protection a pilgrim can have.

Expect substantial walking (tawaf and sa’i together are several kilometers), crowds, heat, and some long days. Most reasonably healthy travelers — including seniors — manage well with pacing, hydration, and the rest windows built into our program. If you have a heart, respiratory, or mobility condition, consult your doctor before booking and tell us at registration; wheelchair tawaf and other accommodations exist and work well when planned in advance.

Saudi health requirements (such as meningitis ACWY vaccination and any seasonal requirements) change from season to season, so we confirm the current list with every group before departure and include it in your pre-travel documents and webinar. Bring routine medications in your hand luggage with their prescriptions.

Selected departures include an Istanbul extension — historic mosques, the Sacred Trusts of the Prophet ﷺ at Topkapi, and Ottoman Islamic heritage, guided in the same spirit as our ziyarah in the Haramain. As a Turkish-American organization, Istanbul is home ground for us: our travelers’ reviews describe the Istanbul leg as “setting the perfect tone” for the journey to Makkah.

One honest note on logistics: many of our groups fly non-stop with Saudia, and an Istanbul stay usually requires a different routing — typically with Turkish Airlines — so it is arranged case by case. Tell us at registration and we will confirm feasibility, dates, and pricing for your departure.
