You book your Hajj on Nusuk — but your tents, hotels, and buses are run by a licensed Saudi service provider.
Understanding this three-layer system — platform, provider, and your US group organizer — is the single most useful thing you can learn before booking. It explains what you are actually paying for, who is responsible for what, and why two packages at the same price can deliver very different journeys.
Every season we meet pilgrims who believe they are buying “a Hajj package from an American company,” and others who believe Nusuk itself runs the camps in Mina. Both are misunderstandings — and both lead to wrong expectations on the ground. Here is how the system actually works for pilgrims from the USA and Canada.

These are substantial companies — some are hospitality arms of major Saudi groups, others are specialist pilgrim-service operators with decades in the Mashair. What matters for you is not the corporate history but the specific package: the same provider can offer a premium camp in one package and a basic one in another.

Package descriptions are brief; knowing what “Camp Category B in Zone 3” actually feels like at 2 p.m. in May is knowledge that comes only from having stood there. The provider serves thousands of pilgrims; your group organizer serves you. When a bus is late or a room assignment is wrong, the provider’s system will eventually fix it — but the group leader standing next to you is the one who makes it happen tonight. No. Nusuk is the official government platform — the marketplace and payment channel. The packages are created and operated by licensed Saudi service providers (13 of them in the 2026 season), who run the hotels, Mina camps, transport, and catering.
No. For pilgrims from Muslim-minority countries, only licensed Saudi providers can operate Hajj packages, and only through Nusuk. A US agency’s legitimate role is guidance, group flights, leadership, and support around the Nusuk booking — valuable, but different from operating the package.
The 2027 (1448 AH) provider list has not been published yet. Lists change between seasons — providers can be added or removed — so treat the 2026 list as a guide to the system, not a guarantee of next season’s names. We update this page when the official 2027 list appears.
Yes, but the specific package matters more than the provider’s name. The same provider can offer different camp categories, hotel distances, and durations at different prices. Compare the Mina camp zone and category, hotel details, and transport arrangements of the specific package — and take advice from someone who has seen the camps in person.
Saudi-side services (hotel, camp, transport, catering) are the provider’s contractual responsibility, managed through Nusuk’s system. In practice, your US group organizer is your first call: a good one coordinates with the provider on the ground and solves what can be solved immediately, while formal complaints run through the platform.
